Prizes

Solo Division

Select first prize winner in the solo division will perform in the Aloha Piano Festival Opening Concert with faculty/guest pianists of the Aloha International Piano Festival at Liliu Theater, Convention Center.

All winners (solo and concerto divisions) must be present at the same venue to receive their awards at the Finale Concert. Performance at the Opening Concert will only be given by select first prize winner(s) in the solo division.

First prize winners competing in the solo division of Level B through Young Artists divisions will receive a full scholarship to attend the 2011 Aloha International Piano Festival (a value of $500).

Prize money of $1,000 will be awarded to the first prize winner competing in the solo division in either high school or young artist levels.

Concerto Division

First place winners of each level will appear in a concerto performance with the Hawaii Youth Symphony in their Winter Concert and Spring Concerts.

Winners will also receive scholarships to attend the 2011 Aloha International Piano Festival.
