Performance which exceed the specified time limit may be interrupted by the Judges. All decisions are final and judges will have the right to honor ties. Entrants must submit scores of all pieces performed (photocopies allowed) labeled with post-its.
Additional Information:
The teacher will be notified of the performance times for their students by email.
Practice/warm-up rooms will be available on the day of the competition.
Videotaping is allowed during the competition, if the taping is not distracting. There will be no videotaping or recording of any kind during the winner's performance and awards ceremony at the Aloha Piano Festival Opening Concert on Sunday, June 13, 2010.
Local Hawaii students are responsible for arranging their own accompanist. The festival can recommend accompanists for students competing from out of state. They are, however, responsible for all expenses incurred (to hire an accompanist).
